Membership – Individuals, Sponsors and Corporations
Membership in the Essex Land Trust is open to all – individuals, families and organizations. Individual members are listed in our publications and website according to the following levels of giving:

| Adventurer | $150 | Explorer | $500 |
Conservator For Life (CFL) is a special designation reserved for those who contribute $1500 in membership dollars in a given year. The names of CFL members are commemorated on a plaque in the Cross Lots preserve.
Income from memberships and sponsors is the main source of funding for the Land Trust’s operating expenses. These contributions help us maintain and improve our fifteen preserves, identify and pursue new land purchases, and increase public awareness of land conservation and preservation.

Sponsors and Corporate Memberships
Businesses, partnerships and individuals are also encouraged to become sponsors. Sponsors can participate in a wide variety of ways including specific program events, publications, advertising, mailing expenses, and property maintenance and improvements. All sponsors receive appropriate recognition in publications and/or events.
The Essex Land Trust is proud to be associated with a growing list of Corporate Members. With a minimum contribution of $100, businesses can show their commitment to the Land Trust’s mission in a public and tangible manner. As a Land Trust corporate member, corporations receive all the benefits of membership including our Essex Woods & Waters publication, the annual Activities Calendar, a copy of our Trail Guide and public acknowledgement of their support. Each company will also receive an attractive plaque acknowledging its participation and support of our mission.
