Stewardship
Each ELT site is overseen by a group of volunteers headed by a Property Steward. Stewards report to ELT’s Chief Stewards (Alan Macgregor and Steve Knauth) for assistance or direction.
Maintenance is typically limited to keeping trails cleared, although in some cases, notably Cross Lots, Osage Trails, and Farm Hills, regular mowing is required. New properties require trail building and marking. Stewards are expected to familiarize themselves with the special characteristics of their specific sites.
